Risk Management Officer

Job description

• Co-operate with the actuary in pricing insurance products

• Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks

• Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications

• Develop methods and models for risk assessment and measurement

• Research, build and monitor risk limits for each product

• Conducts risk assessments, collect and compile statistical data for additional analysis

• Preparing and presenting risk assessment reports and proposals

• Other works assigned by line managers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Actuary, Finance or related field required;

• 1-2 years of experience in risk management or actuarial jobs;

• Excellent numeracy, accuracy;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in Excel, VBA,

• Good ability in setting up a pricing model and profit test model;

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision;

• Demonstrated ability to communicate with management, peers;

• Strong sense of responsibility;

• Ability to solve problems using sound judgment and analysis;

• Ability to handle multiple assignments communicating prioritizations to required levels;

• Client oriented attitude;

• Strategic and creative thinker;

• A deep understanding of economics and of the legislation relating to financial services.
