Job Description

1. JOB PURPOSE

Robotics BU Sales Executive is responsible for all country robotics sales activities and achievement of personal, team and company sales targets. The role also holds the accountability to develop and maintain effective relationships with SI key accounts, including direct contact with end users. The role oversees the delivery of robotics products and services that meet customer satisfaction.


2. CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
List the responsibilities (Key Result Areas and the major activities) that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled. For each KRA, document the performance measure(s) (i.e., outcomes) which indicate successful accomplishment of that KRA.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
* Sales Activities
• Develop sales forecasts
• Coordinate with RHQ to meet customer’s required delivery schedules
• Execute customer’s purchases to ensure 100% accuracy in their purchases
• Work with inter-departments to fulfil customer’s purchases and negotiate with customers on prices, terms and conditions

* Partner (SI & Provider) management
• Understand the business process of each SI and providers to position Epson as SI’s first choice
• Communicate Epson values to SI and providers
• Manage existing and future partners
• Evaluate SI performance and identify high performing SIs

* End-user management
• Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business
• Develop new accounts to expand the customer database and select most effective
• Regularly visit customers to strengthen relationships

* Reporting
• Conduct weekly team meetings to report on work progress and share market intelligence with RHQ (e.g., End user information, SI database)
• Monitor ongoing team process reporting (e.g., monthly forecast report, Project Control Sheet)

* Personal and team working
• Attend necessary developed skills training
• Maintain and develop product information and technical knowledge
• Ensure good cooperation with colleagues inside and outside department
• Motivate team to follow company rules and regulations
• Conduct performance appraisal for direct reports

3. MAJOR CHALLENGES
* Describe the major challenges you face in carrying out your job, and what you do in order to overcome them.
• Slow internal processes (3-5 days) for confirmation of special price offerings resulting in loss of project opportunities
+ Provide suggestions for process improvements to RHQ
• Aggressive competition from rivals with stronger resources
+ Leverage Epson’s advantages against competitors’ key weaknesses to drive sales and marketing of Robotics

4. KEY DECISIONS/DIMENSIONS

• Completing Prototype Solution by project base
• Strategy for expansion of country robotics (e.g. which areas to expand, which SIs to partner with etc.)

Job Requirements

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

* EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical or Electronics

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• 5 years in robotics sales environment
• Good knowledge of the manufacturing industry
• Experience in programming a 3D graphic simulation software
• Experience in channel partner management 
• Experience with reading mechanical drawings and simple electrical schematic drawings
• Good with Microsoft excel and MS office tools
