Safety Supervisor

Job Purposes:

- Ensure workplace safety by implementing and monitoring safety strategies aligned with company goals and legal standards.

- Promote a proactive safety culture through inspections, training, incident investigations, and cross-functional collaboration

Job summary:

- Support the implementation of the Safety Strategy Plan in line with company goals.

- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.

- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations as well as company policies.

- Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.

- Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.

- Maintain and update safety documentation, including SOPs, permits, procedures, and reports.

- Promote a strong safety culture through campaigns, toolbox talks, BBS, Gemba walks, and safety initiatives.

- Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and simulations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production and Maintenance.

- Provide guidance on PPE usage, manage PPE distribution, and monitor budget.

- Track and report safety performance KPIs to the EHS Manager.

- Bachelor's/Engineering degree in Environmental Science or related field

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in EHS/OHS/Safety in manufacturing

- Knowledge about local and international safety standards, good practices, emergency procedures and evacuation plans

- Proficient in English (spoken & written)

- Solid understanding of Safety Management Systems

- Preferred certifications: OHS (HSE Officer/Manager), First Aid, NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14064-1:2018 (GGE)
