Location: ADM Office - Saigon Center, 65 Le Loi, District 1, HCMC
JOB PURPOSE
The Sales and Customer Service Support Specialist will be responsible to organize supply chain operations to ensure the Company has a reliable supply of materials from origin, an accurate shipping and delivery schedule of products to customer and to coordinate the distribution of goods to customers, by executing choice of cost effective and efficient transportation services, maintaining positive business relationship with suppliers, customers and third party logistic (3PL) vendor, and streamlining process and flow of goods from point of order to delivery. This position serves as a central point of communication between customer, sales team and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency and smooth execution of sales and service operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support key marketing and sales activities of the Carbohydrate Solutions portfolio in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos.
- Support the sales of in-house products produced in Asia and imported US and EU products into Indonesia through working with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain excellent coordination with customers and the internal team to ensure daily operations are met.
- Monitor and prepare documentation related to, but not limited to, product registration, sampling, importation, and customs clearance purposes, and documents required for local selling.
- Work and coordinate with Carbohydrates Solutions sales team in other Asian markets on cross-market projects and pipelines with multinational/regional/local customers.
- Closely manage 3rd party agents on importations, stock management, and delivery arrangements to end customers and trading partners.
- Work with other ADM teams of other business units locally to: 1) Ensure ADM portfolio is appropriately represented at the relevant level to customers, prospects, and the industrial network. 2) Drive collaboration and synergies in sales and local operation optimization. 3) Provide guidance and support when necessary and appropriate.
- Support efforts drive growth potential and/or cost optimization at the local level.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Government Relations, including but not limited to ForEx hedging program, sales and contract agreement preparation and execution, legal compliance, government authority interaction, policy watchout, etc.
- Diligently implement all company policy requirements, including safety, compliance, reporting, training, and other items as assigned by management, driving a teamwork culture and a high-performance organization.
- Manage product inventory, monitoring of open PO/ Contract balances.
- Prepare, review, and provide a full set of required documents to customers.
- Handle customers’ complaints, coordinate returns, credit, and replacement, including sample preparation.
- Assist with new customer and vendor accreditation.
- Assist in following up with customers on payment on overdue payments and invoices, and sales support.
- Provide regular weekly and monthly reports as required by management.
- Perform other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Transportation Management, Logistics Management, Food/ Industrial Engineering with a focus on logistics and supply chain.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in food ingredients, sales support, customer service, supply chain, or logistics.
- Experience in handling import of corn sweetener products, other food, sweeteners, or flavor ingredients is an advantage.
- Working experience within an MNC environment is preferred.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Good command of oral and written English.
- Proficient in handling MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Good interpersonal and communication.
- Possesses good knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documents.
- Attention to detail and willing to be hands-on.
- Feel comfortable in a dynamic, international environment and open to change.
- Proactive, committed, customer-oriented, and a team player.
- Both analytical and conceptual decision-making ability.
