Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on the Africa and India markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, combined with a proven track record in sales, particularly in these regions. This role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth in these emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and opportunities in the Africa and India markets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to these regions.
• Client Acquisition & Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their logistics needs and offer customized solutions that add value to their operations.
• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement and strategic negotiations with clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and pricing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including market insights and sales performance metrics.

Key Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 2.5 years of experience in sales within the logistics industry, with a focus on the Africa and/or India markets.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of logistics operations, including air, sea, and land freight.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
• Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with cultural norms and business practices in Africa and India.
Must-Have Qualifications:
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the logistics industry.
• Experience working in or with the Africa and India markets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• Knowledge of regional languages.
• Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
