Sales Manager

Primary purpose of the position

The primary purpose of the Sales Manager position is to be accountable for achieving the budgeted sales revenue targets and ensuring market share growth. Sells directly to the end consumer and/or business purchaser through primarily field (i.e. face-to-face) interactions including new sale to new customers as well as cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers, assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and solutions.

Main key accountabilities

▪ Implement the sales strategy in order to achieve substantial and profitable growth by identifying and developing sales opportunities for new and established customers and follow up with customers.

▪ Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets.

▪ Conduct seminars, sales presentations, product demonstration and training to customers and distributors (if existing in the respective area).

▪ Provide solutions for customer needs and handle complaints in order to retain, expand and strengthen customer management by ensuring high-quality customer service and resolving issues.

▪ Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and/or solutions in order to grow sales.

▪ Support in marketing activities and competitor analyses and participate in marketing campaigns, events, seminars and exhibitions in order to gain and provide knowledge with the goal of building up strong and sustained customer relationships.

• Degree in Veterinary, Animal Nutrition, or related field.

• Minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in a regional sales role.

• Highly goal-oriented and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

• Creative problem-solving skills

• Strong English skills
