ROLE SUMMARY: The Sales Operations Manager will lead the Sales Operations team to provide support services focussed on structured sales administration, Salesforce (CRM) support, data analysis & investigation, reporting, and data management / entry support. The team will be a key link between the Sales teams and the Asia CRM team and will work to support the Sales team to maximise the benefits of our CRM system, Salesforce.com. The Manager will lead, coach and manage performance of this team to deliver specialist services which drive greater sales productivity and efficiency across multiple Event/product teams. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead a team of Sales Operations employees to deliver quality and consistent support services to the Sales teams, including but not limited to enabling administration including issuing sales contract and invoice, after sales service on exhibitor manual order forms. • Manage the quality and delivery of the services of the team, and the professional development of the team members, including performance assessment processes where relevant • Manage the resourcing required and flexibility across brands to respond to demand spikes, and efficiently run the sales operations team to achieve margin goals • In the first instance, the capability is responsible for providing support focussed in eight main areas: • Sales Administration & Team Support • CRM / EMS support to sales teams • Reporting, Data Analysis & Investigation • Data Management & QA • Campaign Management • Testing & Improving Salesforce.com Development • Implementation of Online Exhibition Manual (OEM) platforms and backend support • Provide support to the sales leadership in defining sales strategies and campaigns by providing insight from sales performance data and facilitating the link to the CRM team to translate these campaigns into the systems • Co-ordinate Sales Operations input to forecasting/budgeting processes working closely with Sales leadership and Finance • Identify trends in performance / productivity of sales teams and facilitate the sharing of information and leveraging of good practice • Drive quality and consistency across Sales Ops processes • Working with Finance, Sales Leadership, and HR to provide assistance with Sales commission / incentive administration • Adhere and commit to the Informa Markets Commitments and lead by example • Perform additional duties as required ILLUSTRATIVE ROLE METRICS: • Efficiency gain of Sales teams supported by Sales Operations team • Accuracy of data and reporting • Cost of capability to provide required services • Effectiveness of sales campaigns
Job requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • University Bachelor’s Degree / University of Business Admin / Applied Sciences qualification • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading and managing Sales Operations teams • Strong organization, time management skills and ability to work with senior internal stakeholders • Experience of Sales data analysis, manipulation and reporting • Ability to proactively handle and respond to customer objections • Sales acumen with an eye for spotting trends to improve commercial effectiveness • Interest in the Events industry and Sales OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES: • Experience with Salesforce CRM desirable • MS Office • AutoCAD / ExpoCAD BENEFITS - Flexible time, Monday to Friday - Office at Central of Ho Chi Minh City - Competitive remuneration package with performance bonus - Private health insurance - Company trip and social activities - Learning & development opportunity to advance your career path
