We are looking for a Junior Sales Engineer who cover the Industry/Utility market for Hitachi Energy in Vietnam. Support the sales team in marketing and sales activities and represent the interests for the Hitachi Energy in Vietnam. Develop profitable and sustainable sales for the complete portfolio in Vietnam. Coordinate the sales activities and manage resolution of specific customer problems.

Strategy: Understand the key business drivers of the relevant customer’s business and business environment and interpret the impact and opportunity for Hitachi Energy. Participate in the development of sales strategies for the account
by providing the customer’s current business and long-term plans and propose recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.

Targets: Define and propose sales targets for the account, ensure their achievement with a structured follow up process across Business Units and Countries and sell products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets representing all Hitachi Energy.

Marketing: Create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g.,frame agreements, AVL related actions), communicate details in accordance with Hitachi Energy supply, offering and
strategy. Coordinate the use of internal or external resources (e.g. technical, advertising, and marketing) in order to provide value added services to accounts.

Market analysis: Oversees the market intelligence process ensuring detailed market analyses of market drivers and trends, key competition, and emerging technologies, produce monthly and ad-hoc reports to monitor market and
progress. Resources: Work together with Hub Sales & Marketing and Marketing Communication (Hub & Local) for planning and implementation of marketing activities.

Customer relations: In line with the sales team strategy, manage and develop appropriate relationships with customers
and key accounts, serve as escalation point for questions and issues and collect customer feedback and input.
Bid and proposal: Ensure proposals are developed and approved to enable negotiation, optimal outcome, ensure all status update and documentation are accurately tracked in appropriate systems. Take local responsibility for the Business Units mix and maintains the accuracy of data for project pipeline and orders received forecast and competitive feedback.

After-sales: Organize and promote after-sales service activities, ensure appropriate order handling of products/systems/services, ensure contracts are appropriately managed with adherence to payment terms. People
leadership and development: Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, directed, drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

Safety: Lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensure proactive risk
assessments take place and corrective actions monitored /followed up. Build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within your team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken. Create a
workplace where everyone views health, safety and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business.

Your background
- Degree in Electrical Engineering. MBA in Sales & Marketing will be added advantage.
- Fresh engineer up to 2 years of relevant experience in Utility/Power business.
- The person should be self-starter, outgoing with ability to engage, build relationships and gain trust.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoints and presentation.
- Demonstrated Negotiation skills.
