SAP Support & Development Specialist Asia

• Execute development tasks based on technical specifications provided by SAP consultants and SAP developers in Europe.

• Perform enhancements and corrections in SAP backend systems (ABAP), Smartforms, SAPscript, CDS Views, and Fiori applications.

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of development tasks and support tickets.

• Maintain clear communication and documentation for handovers and feedback loops with European teams.

• Act as a local business analyst, understanding and documenting business requirements from regional users and translating them into SAP-related support or development tickets.

• Support testing, documentation during projects e.g. updates and SAP roll-outs in collaboration with global teams.

• Assign authorization roles for our SAP users in Asia.

• Ensure all changes and implementations are aligned with responsible SAP consultants in Europe; no independent/self-initiated development is allowed.

Technical Skills Requirement:

• More than 8 years of experience in SAP application support and development, ideally within a distributed or global team environment.

• Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

• Technical proficiency in ABAP, CDS Views, Smartforms, SAPscript, and Fiori/UI5.

• Ability to work based on detailed technical specifications and deliver reliable solutions in a high quality.

• Fluent in English; strong communication and documentation skills.

• Team-oriented, structured, and quality-focused working style.
