SCM Senior Officer (Demand Planning Specialist)

Main Responsibilities:

- Analyze historical and updated sales data to identify trends and patterns, create demand forecasts using statistical methods and analytics.

- Align and follow demand signals across products, regions (North and South), channels and customers (HORECA, MT, DISTRIBUTOR), and time horizons (tactical: 1–3 months; operational: 3–12 months).

- Deliver item-level consensus demand plans of each product types (materials, finished products), multiple storage conditions (frozen, chilled) with strict control of temperature and shelf-life, through multiple workflow and integrated tactical planning.

- Represents the demand signal to other departments and units (AH, PD, Sales) by acting as process leader of the demand review.

Ensure timely, accurate forecasts for volume, pricing, and cost spend by driving inter-departments communication, follow KPIs, and planning metrics.

Coordinate with farms and processing plants to ensure a responsive supply chain that meets large or sudden order changes.

- Inventory Tracking: Monitor inventory levels, ensuring that stock is distributed efficiently throughout the supply chain process, to ensure timely and adequate supply.

FIFO-FEFO Management: Ensure adherence to First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired-First-Out principles to optimize stock and maintain product quality.

Inventory Replenishment: Collaborate with transportation and production teams to identify stock shortages and facilitate timely replenishment of inventory

- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and risk mitigation within the supply chain scope.

- Other tasks as assigned by uppler Director and Manager.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in related majors of Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management

Experience:

- At least 5 year of practical experience in demand planning, or production planning.

- At least 3 years in a similar role, preferably in large-scale companies in the food or FMCG industry

- In-depth knowledge of supply planning, logistics, and production optimization.

- (prefer) experience in using ERP/SAP systems.

Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of accounting, finance, and business administration.

- Proficient in office software and experience in data management systems.

Soft skills

- Strong planning skills and logical thinking.

- Good analytical and communication skills.

- Be disciplined with a can-do attitude.
