Security Deputy Manager

Job Summary:

The Security Deputy Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Piaggio Vietnam’s employees, assets, and facilities. This role includes the development and implementation of comprehensive security plans, managing security service contractors, overseeing CCTV systems, and cooperating with law enforcement agencies to investigate any security incidents.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Security Plan Development & Implementation:

• Design and implement security strategies and procedures to protect company assets and personnel.

• Regularly assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop plans to mitigate them.

• Ensure all security measures comply with local laws and company policies.

• Conduct periodic reviews of security plans and update them as needed.

• Managed parking area, visitor, vehicle/ employee flows, material movement, security documentation, high risk area, alarm monitoring & response

• Planned the Emergency Incidents/ Contingency Plan/ Incidents Management as well as implemented.

• Responsible for investigating all cases relate to theft, material losses in the production/ Warehouse.

• Liaise with local Law Enforcement Agencies, police, emergency services and Local Authority to ensure safe and secure environment for employees and company operation.

Contractor Management:

• Oversee external security service providers, ensuring they deliver services according to contracts.

• Monitor the performance and compliance of security contractors, ensuring the quality of the security services provided.

• Manage contracts and liaise with service providers to address any issues or improvements.

• Planned & implemented professional training program for security guard, Vendors, contactors, operators weekly and monthly.

CCTV System Management:

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and operation of the CCTV systems across all Piaggio Vietnam facilities.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of video footage for reference during investigations.

• Conduct regular audits of the CCTV system to ensure coverage and functionality.

Crisis Management:

• Assist in the development and execution of emergency response and crisis management plans.

• Provide guidance and training to staff on security protocols and emergency procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate security management, including contractor oversight.

• Proven experience in managing CCTV systems and conducting investigations.

• Familiarity with local law enforcement and security regulations.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Good in both Vietnamese and English is required.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to think critically under pressure.

• Experience with crisis management and emergency response procedures.
