Senior Accountant

I. Primary Purpose and Scope (Mục đích chính của công việc ) Why does this job exist?

The role exists to assist finance controller providing a strongly controlled environment consistent with corporate and local statutory requirements, they consist of:

- Ensure all of Tax declaration and Tax report to finance controller timely and accurately.

- Ensure compliance tax policy in LFVN correctly and timely .

- Monitor and ensure internal controls are effectively implemented.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards internationally and in Vietnam and statutory requirement.

- Working with Tax department and others for auditing.

II. Accountabilities

1. Accounting and finance

- To ensure the accounting processes and policies are in place

- Ensure paperwork and data entry are captured with greater integrity and high level of accuracy.

- To review all accounting entries to system for month and year end closing, such as reconciliation, reversal, accrual, provision, account clearing and revaluation...

- To manage the inter-company

- To maintain the fixed asset register; monthly depreciation and movement reports

- To control & manage all the expense of DCs and ensure all recharge costs are invoiced in time, then debt is collected within agreed terms.

- To effectively supervise and develop a team of accounting staff.

2. Reporting

- Reports submitted to Finance controller are accurate, relevant and produced consistently within the deadline set.

- To provide the relevant information and analysis of the financial statement to enable effective management of cost and budgetary control and effective decision making.

- To coordinate and prepare financial reporting in both VN accounting standards and group’s instructions.

- To check the tax report (VAT, PIT, CIT, and WHT) and support the VAT refund procedures and application.

- To liaise with the external auditors to finalize the year end audited financial report.

1. Approve or reject non conformity with procedures and policies

3. Arrange and assign accounting jobs of team to enhance works efficiently

4. Review performance of accounting staffs

5. Discipline decision: Verbal warning form

6. Approve less than 6 day leaves (as taking leave policy)

Key persons/ titles/ organizations that have relationships with this position

- Having experience in tax is an advantage.

- Key Competencies & Skills: Good in computer skill, especially in Excel Communication

- Education, Qualification: Professional accounting qualification or degree in accounting or finance

- Language: Basic English communication is preferred

- Work Experience: 5 years working experience in finance and accounting supervising and up

- Personality: Flexible, careful, stand pressure

- Physical Requirement: Good in health

- Female or male is ok
