General Accountant

Proper recording of pre-opening expenses in accordance with VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards)

Preparation of daily journal entries and ensuring accuracy of financial transactions in the General Ledger

Participation in monthly closings to ensure agility, timeliness, and reliability of the process

Analysis and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of variances

Management of inter-company balances and reconciliation

Preparation of payment lists and adherence to payment schedules

Familiarity with various taxes including VAT, PIT, CIT, WHT, and ensuring tax reports are filed in compliance with statutory requirements

Proper depreciation of fixed assets in accordance with VAS and group policies

Accurate accrual of expenses and allocation of prepayments

Completion of other tasks assigned by the Manager

Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to work under pressure

Experience working with pre-opening project phases is advantageous

Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and accounting mapping is beneficial

Familiarity with withholding tax and transfer pricing is advantageous

Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills are essential

5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in a senior accounting or general accountant role

Preferably experience in a large-scale or multinational company with foreign investment

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance

Chief Accounting Certificate is preferred

Fluent in English

High proficiency in Excel

Experience with ERP systems, with knowledge of Dynamics D365FO considered a plus
