JOB SUMMARY
- This role is to taking responsibilities in charge of MM module: manage the movement of inventory via reviewing inventory transactions to assure right recording, stock under effective control through DII measurement and aging rep analysis.
- Timely review slow moving items to make provision as per policy & follow up w/o process accordingly.
- Propose improvement opportunities for inventory management.
- Partnership: Key control contact as business partner for inventory management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management:
- Review the inventory transactions movement, Adjustment entries to ensure their approval as per SOA/current policy.
- Perform plant/DC tour visit to ensure compliance of I2C process & financial control in place.
- Review & keep track the movement of slow-moving items to flag up to PIC/management team for timely clearing off to mitigate inventory W/O cost.
- Prepare the monthly closing reports for Inventory Aging/DII Report.
- Ensure the accurate preparation for financial Reports & keep a key role to the periodic balance sheet review for respective locations of inventory accounts.
- Analyze & comment the movement of inventory provision in compliant with VAS and company policy.
- Take lead for periodic physical count & report by respective locations.
- Daily review inventory transactions to investigate non-routine cases /or incorrect reason code for correction to ensure inventory cost capture properly & compliances with VAS & company policy.
- Review slow moving items & following up action plans defined from PIC/functionals to make provision/or clear them off timely.
- Review adj entries and w/o request to ensure full supporting documents as per SOA required
Lead physical count in assigned location:
Co-ordinate with cross function to set up the physical count plan for whole year / quarterly.
Organize physical count at site and make consolidate physical count report. Ensure count report reviewing with high accuracy, clear comment and action plan from cross function improve the variance better.
Ensure count process is compliance with SOP and supporting documents are properly reviewed and approved per SOA.
Compliance & partnership:
- Support I2C refreshment workshop to be held at respective Locations.
- Key contact point for operation audits/tax health check with full documentations, evidence provide as required.
- Perform GCS self-test for I2C process as per control agenda required by IC Dept.
- Well partnership with Logistic team & 3PL's staffs in cascading new policy or refreshment workshop for I2C/ SOP of Physical count SOP change update.
- Build Gemba visit and do frequency Gemba tour and enable to release observation report for improvement.
- Other tasks will be assigned by FM/ FD: Other ad-hoc requirements and such as new project implementation, data analysis

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economic
- Minimum 3-4 years in similar positions in FMCG companies
- Good knowledge in Finance and Accounting
- Strong leadership, planning and forecast skill
- Fluent English speaking & writing
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge in BI Dashboard / Power automate skill
