RESPONSIBILITIES

As successful candidates

• We are looking for experienced Senior AUTOSAR Engineers who aspire to build a long-term career in Japan. This position offers a unique development path combining technical expertise and Japanese language proficiency, preparing you for onsite opportunities with leading automotive projects in Japan.

Career Development Program

For candidates with strong Embedded base (Non-AUTOSAR) + Japanese N5:

• Phase 1: AUTOSAR training (2–3 months) at AVE or other BU locations.

• Phase 2: Japanese language training (7 months).

• For candidates with AUTOSAR experience but no Japanese: Full-time Japanese language training (9 months).

• After successfully completing the study program, once language proficiency meets requirements, you will interview for long-term onsite projects in Japan.

Must have

• At least 4 years’ experience in programming in C, Embedded system development

• 3 or more years of experience in the development, configuration, or testing of any of the following areas: AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) e.g. CAN stack, ETH stack, Memory stack, Diagnostic stack, Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL), ECU Abstraction Layer.

• Strong Knowledge in AUTOSAR architecture and Configuration Tool chain

• Good Development experience on 16/32 bit microcontroller families like Renesas, ST, …

• Excellent knowledge on Compilers, Debuggers for different micro-controllers

• Experience with Vector products (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer, Davinci, etc.)

• Good knowledge of hardware, software embedded system concepts and architecture.

• Good understanding of the embedded software build process (compiling, linking, programming, etc.).

• Ability to troubleshoot issues to resolution. Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.

• Ability and ease with using lab tools such as debuggers, emulators, oscilloscopes, etc.

• Experience with configuration management software (SVN, GIT)

• Ability to analyze / study new technical, new hardware

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have

• ASPICE development process

• Functional Safety Experience (ISO 26262)

• Overall understanding of automotive system

• Good at English communication
