Senior Compliance Officer

JOB SUMMARY

Support for the local implementation, maintenance and development of the Compliance Management System of TUV Rheinland Vietnam.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Coordinates all compliance matters within a specific country. Controls the respect of the defined rules and regulations as defined within the compliance management system of TÜV Rheinland within the country.

+ Accountable for the global compliance management system of TÜV Rheinland AG and its affiliates in the respective country of competence.

+ Within the area of responsibility, the Local Officer controls the respect of the defined rules and regulations as defined within the compliance management system of TÜV Rheinland.

+ Follows up on any deviation from such regulations brought to her/his attention and reports the same to the respective RO Compliance.

+ Controls the implementation, documentation and the progress and further development of the compliance management systems in the country.

+ Conduct compliance investigations and coordinate with RO Compliance and Corporate Compliance.

+ Responsible for planning and conducting monitoring activities via integrity checks to the clients / customers / business partner’s pre and post service activities by TÜV Rheinland Vietnam.

+ Responsible for conducting integrity calls, on-site factory visits and mystery audits to business partners based on corporate compliance requirements.

+ Responsible regarding the preparation of audit checklists and control points in alignment with corporate standards.

+ Responsible for follow-up on revealed control weaknesses, proposal of remedial actions. Prepare risk and KPI reporting a based on monitoring activities. Knowledge sharing and compliance trainings to business fields, management and relevant Stakeholder.

+ Keeps the respective RO Compliance posted at regular intervals about the implementation of the compliance management system and about recent violations.

+ Legal Matters Coordinatior.

+ Others assigned by RO – Legal and Compliance.

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in law, or related field of study.

• Fluent in English

• 1 – 3 years’ proven experience in a compliance role.

• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.

• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.

• Experience of working in a complex organization ideally in a TIC industry.

• Experience of dealing with different cultures.

• Strong knowledge of Compliance Investigation management.

• Strategic planning.

• Effective communication skills with ability to influence decision making at all levels.
