Senior Dev-Com Technician (Footwear)

Lead the development process from the receipt of the prototype package to the start of production.

Use the Dev-Com process to guarantee timely RTB (Ready to Buy).

Packages for design technology handle possible issues with cost, fit and wear, materials, and construction.

For every project, keep an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) up to date.

Assist in the prompt production, distribution, and approval of all pertinent technical data (shell samples, 2D, 3D, molds, samples, cost sheets, blue prints, etc.).

Examine and assess the project's progress in collaboration with the product development and creation team, taking into account their expanding understanding of patterns, mold processes, materials, cost and productivity analysis, pricing, manufacturing procedures, and ultimate utilization capacity.

Lead Tech meetings with manufacturers, team members, and individual quality control personnel center on sample quality, production processes, materials, mold processes, and end-user performance.

Make an effort to continuously improve manufacturing by routinely inspecting faulty goods.

Visit manufacturers and vendors as required.

Concentrate on significant objectives and outcomes

Give structural choices, materials, prices, taxes, and other information for PLM/product design.

To find issues, go over engineering drawings, lab tests, samples, components, and durability.

Proficiency with standard tools of the trade, such as tape measures, profile gauges, durometers, calipers, Brannock devices, etc.

10-15 years of experience in the shoe industry;

Fluency in English

The capacity to multitask and operate in a fast-paced workplace.

The capacity to operate with conflicting deadlines and priorities in a complicated, international organization that satisfies the interests of all stakeholders.

Capacity to efficiently gather, organize, and deliver information while responding to inquiries from management, clients, and other staff members.

Capable at visual communication with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Competent with PLM and Microsoft applications at a basic level.

Familiarity with developing compounds, leather, materials, molds, and foot anatomy.
