Senior General Accountant ( 7 months contract)

Basic Job Functions:

• Lead a team of Accountants on Company’s regular accounting and compliance work.

• Participate/lead in projects to ensure continuous improvement.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Lead, manage and consolidate timely month-end close process by ensuring proper cut-off, reconciling accounts and analyzing changes in the balance sheet and provide a recommendation. Analyze and ensure accuracy of accounting statements.

• Lead and review balance sheet sub ledgers data/details including fixed assets/accounts receivable/payable/inventory etc.

• Ensure compliance with various Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls

• Work with Inter/intra Departments and Global Finance team to ensure consistency among processes,

• Lead/participate in improvement project.

For Fixed Asset

• Handle the fixed asset compliance with Vietnam GAAP.

• Technical:

• US GAAP and local GAAP

• SOX 404 compliance

• Knowledge of local company laws and income tax regulations

• Proficient on MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and etc.

• Strong working knowledge on major ERP systems, ie SAP

• Good supervisory skill

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Well understanding about VAS (Vietnam accounting standards)
