Senior Hydraulic Engineer (Revit)

We are looking for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer with a strong background in Revit modelling and MEP coordination to join our engineering team, delivering high-quality building services design for projects across Australia. You will play a key role in leading hydraulic design efforts and integrating services within multidisciplinary project environments.

- Lead the documentation of hydraulic services (including water supply, stormwater, sewerage, gas, and fire services) using Revit MEP.

- Model and coordinate hydraulic systems within a multi-disciplinary BIM environment, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, electrical, and fire services.

- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve clashes and optimize system layouts.

- Ensure all documentation meets standards (e.g., NCC, AS/NZS codes) and client requirements.

- Review and validate hydraulic models, specifications, and schedules for accuracy and constructability.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers and Revit technicians in modeling best practices and standards.

- Attend and contribute to design coordination meetings, both internally and with clients or project teams.

- Assist in the preparation of project reports, technical submissions, and approval documents.

- Stay current with industry trends and Revit/BIM developments to enhance design efficiency.

- Bachelor's degree in Hydraulic, Civil, or Building Services Engineering.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in hydraulic services design, with 3+ years using Revit MEP in a professional environment.

- Strong knowledge of plumbing and drainage regulations, NCC, and relevant AS/NZS standards.

- Proven experience in MEP coordination and clash detection workflows (Navisworks knowledge a plus).

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with clients and consultants.
