Senior Import Export Specialist

1. Control and Handle whole local customs and logistics activities for import:

- Identify and obtain the permits, licenses, certificates… required for customs clearance.

- Master data: accept and check instruction, information and document to determine and assign: Vietnamese name, HS code, import duty, customs valuation for customs declaration.

- Follow up and monitor SOP, KPI, SLA.

- Negotiation with local authorities, LSP... for fastest clearance and trouble case.

- Provide all the information required by the customs officer: act as an intermediary between the company and the customs authorities; especially in the event of physical cargo check.

- Store all documents for post-customs audit.

2. Handle additional export activities for export requirement:

- Prepare all activities for export: vessel booking, PO, invoice & packing list, BL, CA, CQ, CO form D, fumigation, and other certificates… to comply with will oversea import regulations.

- Customs liquidation for raw material tax exemption or tax return.

- Perform all activities to facilitate timely and cost-effective movement of export shipments.

3. Compliance and Risk assessment:

- Live in the company values and comply with code of conduct, guidelines, policies, ISO.

- Ensure the clearance process to meets all legal and status requirements.

4. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or closely related field.

- At least 3 years’ experience in Import & Export in manufacturing environments.

- Experience in custom clearance, tax refund of exports & HS code dispute solution.

- Good command of English.

- Well organized and detailed, able to work under high pressure.

- Be a team player, detailed and accurate.

- Be truthful and have strong organizational and communication skills.
