Senior Interior Designer/ Project Leader

Role Description

The Senior Interior will work under the direction of the Chief Interior Designer.

In some case, you will play a role as a Project Leader/Team Leader in leading Interior design teams throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to construction documentation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

- Lead/coordinate with members in the project team to develop design ideas/design solutions for assigned projects

- Lead a Project Team and overall management of the team (as a Project Leader-Team Leader) when assigned

- Manage and run/operate of the assigned projects from strategic/conceptual design through to detailed documentation and completion.

- Manage project timelines and control the design process, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.

- Provide professional feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of design; propose solutions to arising issues; bear the ultimate responsibility for project success

- Delegate and assign tasks to team members effectively. mentor and supervise junior designers, guiding them through projects.

- Produce/perform drawings and design documents of projects and update/modify drawings/design documents if needed.

- Review project documents/drawings for quality assurance;ensure the final design meets the client's needs and fulfills its purpose.

- Liaise and deal with the owners/clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, authorities and other consultants to ensure that each project meets quality, timeline, budget, and technical feasibility objectives.

- Participate in presentations, design reviews, and meetings with clients

- Coordinate with other project design teams and between different divisions of the company to get the project/assigned work done

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Interior/Architectural Design.

- 7-10 years of experience in interior design; experienced in leading projects and teams

- Experienced in interior design for Hospitality projects is an advantage

- Strong ability to give direction and develop design ideas/design solutions

- Strong leadership skills, client collaboration abilities, project timeline management abilities, high sense of responsibility

 Proficient in English

4. SALARY: negotiate/ based on experience and skills
