Senior IT Specialist - Chuyên Viên IT Cấp Cao

IMPACT & OPPORTUNITY:

• Provide effective IT support across all aspects of the Gentherm Hanam plant.

• Be responsible for supporting IT Team Leader, IT global administrator, Regional IT manager and maintaining overall IT infrastructure environment not only Hanam but also other sites in Asia.

• Provide exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be aware of updates in IT infrastructure design. Helps in production evaluation.

• RFQ for hardware and software as required by the infrastructure projects/operations.

• Perform vendor compares and rating and recommends to manager.

• Assist and lead sub-IT infrastructure projects.

• Channel users' feedback for potential future development.

• Explain and enforce security measures and policy in place.

• Understand security measurement in all aspects of business system.

• Prepare and update company IT infrastructure documents

• Explain and enforces Policy, User guide, measures and policy in place.

• Ensure operational availability of servers & network infrastructure at agreed time period.

• Perform regular maintenance of all hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, firewall, switch, printer in Hanam plant.

• Monitor and perform regular updates of all software, including OS, MS Office, Symantec, etc for end users.

• Provide helpdesk support in troubleshooting and resolving of server, PC and network issues to end users of Hanam plant on call, after hours support will be required as needed.

• Monitor IT operations including PC, Network system, software evaluation, user training as well as program implementation.

• Report on IT infrastructure performance metrics.

• Prepare and update company IT reports.

• Provide software training to end-users.

• Install and configure software on end user's PC and Laptop.

• Collect and channel users' feedback to IT management as IT's first point of contact.

• Submit Purchase Request, claim on all IT related expenses.

• Maintain Fixed Assets Register for all IT Infrastructure Hardware, Software.

• Submit payment request.

• Creates and submits necessary paperwork for administration purpose.

EDUCATION: University Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology

EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years in related job
