Senior/ Lead Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Architect to join our HCMC studio and lead the development of Australia projects in collaboration with our Australian team. This role involves concept leadership, design team mentoring, and cross-border coordination on a range of Australian projects. You’ll be working on multi-residential & commercial projects, developing community focused designs that address project & regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through early-stage development

• Mentor and guide junior designers and 3D visualizers

• Coordinate design intent with the Australian team and consultants

• Oversee quality of architectural outputs including drawings, models, and presentations

• Communicate clearly in English during design reviews, meetings, and client updates

• Contribute to design workshops and studio culture in HCMC

• Ensure that projects align with practice’s core values, design standards, and storytelling approach

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent

• 7+ years of professional experience, including in a leadership or senior design role

• Strong conceptual design skills and ability to guide others through the design process

• Proficiency in Archicad preferred (Revit experience also considered)

• Experience in architectural visualization & presentation tools

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (English required)

• Familiarity with Australian design context and documentation is a plus

• Passion for thoughtful, culturally aware, and sustainable design
