Senior Legal Specialist

This Senior Legal Specialist is responsible for providing expert legal advice and support on complex legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting research, and collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies that mitigate legal risks. Additionally, the Senior Legal Specialist may oversee junior staff and contribute to policy development within the organization.

• Draft, review, critique, edit contracts, agreements, internal regulations, minutes,

resolutions, decisions, applications, corporate letters and other legal

documentations;

• Take care of attainment and amendment of licenses, governmental approvals,

permits;

• Monitor legal obligations under corporate agreements to ensure compliance;

• Assist in the formulation, implementation and/or amendment of corporate policies;

• Detect, review, analyze, comment and provide solutions to legal and risk issues;

• Advise on statutory compliances, assist and oversee relevant departments in

compliance and prepare regulatory reports, submissions as required;

• Provide sound legal advice to the concerned departments / “customers” as required;

• Supervise and assist document control administrator in develop and managing legal

filing systems;

• Serve as contact person for Legal Department to handle legal and risk queries;

• Make a translation for legal documentations;

• Perform related duties as required.

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Laws or related fields;

• Practicing License is preferred.

2. Experiences:

• At least 4-5 years of experience working in Corporate Legal & Law firms;

• Field of experience: Customs, Banking, Environment, Corporate compliance, Real estate is prefered.

3. Knowledge:

• Expertise in working with Commercial Laws;

• Strong understand about Business acumen.

• Proven legal counseling knowledge and experience in business environment;

• Required soft-skills: Interpersonal and communication;

• Ability to perform complex legal/administrative work with accuracy;

• Good command in spoken and written English.
