Senior Manager, Bancassurance Compensation and Contest

Job Purpose:

This role is designed to take lead the relating activities of Bancassurance Reporting, Compensation and analytic including:

- Design, implement and monitor Bancassurance compensation schemes, sales contests, sales performance;

- Responsible for Planning, developing, launching and maintaining technology tools of Bancassurance (Reporting/Distribution Management System) to make sure all distribution platforms meet sales demands, work smoothly, and achieve adoption rate KPIs.

Major accountabilities:

1. Bancassurance Contest and Compensation Design

• Responsibility in design of all the Bancassurance compensation schemes and sales contests to support sales and ensure external competitiveness.

• Proactively work with Bank Partner, Sales team to understand the needs of tactical contests & long-term contests and advise appropriate solutions.

• Oversee and monitor Bancassurance sales performance as well as evaluate the effectiveness of compensation schemes and sales contests.

2. Distribution Payment’s calculation

• Manage team to do all Bancassurance payments & incentive/contest/compensation calculation with accuracy.

• Monitor the spending within Bancassurance channel in terms of incentive/contest/compensation

• Transform and digitize compensation calculation process and conduct periodically system and tool review to ensure new features have been updated, modified and reflected in the calculation tool/systems.

• Actively discuss with other functions, vendors and relevant stakeholders on data error or new arisen issues impact to compensation result and provide recommendation to solve issues to protect company financial benefits, as well as preparing proposal for enhancements or solutions.

3. Reporting

• Manage and provide accuracy reports to Banca’s Management team and sales force.

• Transform and digitize the report calculation process to provide the on-time information as sale’s demand.

Specialized knowledge:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of the life insurance industry, sales/compensation mechanism of the bancassurance, as well as knowledge of other business and functional areas

• Project management with knowledge in technology (web, application)

• Business analyst to transfer needs of advisors to IT BA

• IT process for develop and promote new platforms, maintain platforms (production issue, enhancement)

Requires thinking within a well-defined frame of reference and toward specific objectives, in situations characterized by functional practices and precedents. Solving problem requires extensive business acumen, advanced analytical skills and consultation with relevant stakeholders. Identifies best practices.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer science, Business analysis, or a related field;

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the relevant fields (Life Insurance, Finance, Banking, Business / Data Analytics, Strategic Planning, Predictive / Propensity Modelling)

• Database knowledge and skills (Excel, Access, SQL, Power BI, SAS, Oracle, …): proficient level

• Advantage: specific certificate in the business sector: LOMA, etc.

• Minimum 8 years of experience including at least 3 years in Business Intelligent

Communication:

• Interaction with leadership team members to share thoughts and influence to get the buy-in.

• Interaction with internal functions / departments to stay abreast on the latest initiatives on deliver strategies and updated on new/revised practices/ policies.
