The position of Senior Manager, Compliance is leadership role to represent VS&Co./IPS on social, trade compliance and supply chain security program initiatives in the regions. This position will manage supply chain mapping and traceability; support the supplier and factory training, monitoring, and remediation; manage projects related to social responsibility, worker engagement and empowerment; monitor supplier ownership program and SAC/Higgs program, etc. The position must identify and escalate non-compliant findings and compliance risks to management with proposed resolution, and execution. The position is expected to have macro view of the operations, and to develop, propose, and implement new solutions and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness for compliance performance enhancement. The Senior Manager will work with various cross-functional partners to drive critical initiatives set by the enterprise.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Mapping and traceability of factories / mills in different tiers along the supply chain from raw material (fibre) to finished goods. Maintain its accuracy and update to the information platforms through communication with raw material and sourcing team, as well as vendors.
• Provide orientation to new vendors and factories on the compliance requirements related to social, trade and supplier chain security; and conduct workshop and training for compliance capability building.
• Liaise with internal team and vendors/factories to provide necessary documentation for request from the US counterpart. Report and communicate with the team in HK/US for the project status and work progress.
• Be responsible for the regional Support for social responsibility projects i.e. worker engagement /woman empowerment, worker voice, Human Trafficking, Liaise with NGOs for kick-off, progress and closing of those programs.
• Monitor the supplier ownership program and SAC/Higg Program
• Inform management regularly regarding potential compliance risks in the region. Identify and escalate non-compliant findings and compliance risks to management with proposed resolution, and execution.
• Develop industry relationships for benchmarking and identification of industry trends. Propose modification or enhancement on programs to meet industry trends in an efficient and effective manner
• Develop program policies, applicable procedures, and measurable key performance indicators for implementation; and manage employee performance and provide coaching to the team focusing on skill building.
• Identify training needs to suppliers and factories and work with external resources to develop and execute training programs
• Support activities undertaken by IPS team, or any other tasks as required and assigned

• Knowledge and experience in mapping the supply chain with appropriate application, and project management. High attention to details coupled with analytical, auditing and project management skills, strong understanding of technology and a problem solver.
• Ability to execute tasks in a thorough, composed, accurate and timely fashion while managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Cross-functional team player with proven leadership capability, and ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with several cross-functional partners.
• Understanding of manufacturing and sourcing process and related supply-chain issues
• Experience in facilitating and organizing training seminars and workshops on site and virtually
• Ongoing awareness on the market trends and news through various channels, such as networking with external NGOs, 3rd party consultants and related stakeholders.
• Executing all work in an ethical, honest, professional, and confidential manner.
• Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment
• Ability to support the development and growth of other team members, whether directly or indirectly
• Degree holder or above
• Fluent English and Vietnamese
• 10+ years of management experience working in operations, or corporate social responsibility issues and/or human rights compliance
• Strong PC skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated, self-starting and a creative thinker, Willing to take additional responsibilities
• Willing to travel internationally as required
