Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development, validation and review of manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling

• Identify the opportunities to optimize and improve manufacturing process for yield, cycle time, quality, throughput and cost effectiveness.

• Lead continuous productivity activities improvement by implement lean manufacturing, six sigma tools and other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Lead product line process and layout design for capacity planning to meet the flexibility and dynamic demand models requirement.

• Responsible for production line issues and conduct rapid problem solving by 8D tools, FMEA, RCA and related tools to resolve issues with root cause analysis, minimum downtime and implement & control the permanent corrective actions by using data driven tools (SPC, DOE, statistical analysis).

• Collaborate with Engineering/RD, Quality and Production team during NPI (New Product Introduction) development process by driven on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback for process development to align with project timeline release to the mass production.

• Lead or support for continuous improvement, transition, sustaining projects and any product design change verification.

• Establish and maintain process documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans)

Key Experience & Capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Information System Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Industrial or related field in Science and Technology.

• Minimum 5-7 years’ working experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering roles.

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and problems solving methodologies.

• Being pro-active, self-driven with good problem analysis and resolve capability.

• Good teamwork, strong communication, project management skills for cross functions driven result.

• Good English verbal and written communication is required, while able to communicate in Chinese will be a plus.
