Senior Marketing Copywriter

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Content Strategy

- Develop solid understanding of the target audience persona(s) and pain points

- Clearly address the target audience’s pain points and convey our product’s value proposition

- Conceptualise content that attracts and engages the target audience at different stages of the funnel

- Establish brand/style guides that specify the writing style and tone to deliver an engaging yet consistent message to the audience

2) Content Planning

- Plan, create, adjust and manage the Content Calendar to ensure timely publication across all channels

- Develop clear campaign objectives, goals and measurements of success

- Documented process and content workflow to keep everyone aligned

3) Content Execution

- Work with Content Creators (copywriters, designers) to create copies that accurately describe our product values and motivate target audience towards the campaign goal i.e. Schedule a Demo.

- Work with Digital Marketing Executives to distribute content

4) Progress Measurement and Optimization Report

- Utilize accessible metrics to track progress against objectives and ensure we stay on strategy

- Perform content audits to assess how well existing content is performing and analyze areas for improvements

- Performing content gap analysis and determining what type of content is missing and what is needed

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field

- Past experience as Senior Copywriter, Content Strategist, Content Manager, Content Lead or similar roles/experiences

- In-depth understanding of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM)

- Strong working knowledge of various social media platforms and strategies

- Proven skill and past experience in email marketing (Content writing and Optimization)would be preferred

- Basic know-how of HTML and web publishing

- A professional portfolio depicting your work experience would be preferred
