Senior Merchandiser Or Product Developer - Experienced Bags Merchandiser

Looking for merchandising professionals with a strong Softline background in Bags with product development knowledge and advantage with other sourcing for different product categories that will be in advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage sourcing and oversee the entire product lifecycle from development to bulk production across countries from Vietnam, China and other countries

- Source vendors for daily enquiry, identify product opportunities and quotation preparation

- Manage material quality control including L/D to bulk fabric with fabric mills and factory together to ensure consistent standard approval

- Negotiate with vendors on price, delivery and payment terms

- Monitor production process to meet quality and on time delivery schedule

- Coordinate with QC for inspection and quality standard following

- Work with testing lab on production and fabric testing arrangements

- Act as problem solver to resolve any issue from daily operation, quality to order processing

- Manage project tracker and provide weekly report /updates to management

- Coordinate with internal departments including logistic, Compliance, Financial and administration to ensure smooth workflow

- Or other ad hoc assignments

- University graduate

- Fluent in English and Vietnamese. Preferable can speak Mandarin and write Chinese as first Priority

- Minimum 5+ experience in similar field for Bags and sourcing in manufacturing office. With other product sourcing experience is a plus

- Familiar with PC operations with good knowledge in Microsoft 365, Excel includes Pivot table, V-lookup, and other applications. Also, SAP for order processing

- Good knowledge to prepare and read BOM and CBD to understand the costing with saving proposal

- Strong analytic skills with data management and analysis

- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment

- Knowledge of testing requirements for USA and EU markets

- Familiar with factory compliance and audit processing

- Able to work and sourcing across different countries with hands on experiences and networking

- Willing to travel occasionally

- Good communication skills possess team group cooperation and sense of responsibility

- Being a team player, energetic, well organized, and able to work under pressure and participate in challenging duty

- For Candidate with less experience will be considered as Merchandiser
