Senior Officer, Internal Audit

Position Objective:

Internal Audit by means of carrying out inspection, assessment and consulting activities, may come up with assurances of independence and objectivity and recommendations about the operation of Internal audit system.

Management and risk management processes of SHLV and fulfilment of Operational & strategic objectives of Shinhan Life Vietnam. Internal Audit aims to improve efficiency of the tasks, improve reliability of the financial statements, minimize risks and rationalize business decision making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform internal audit activities (including testing procedure, documenting the working papers, audit finding and recommendations) in line with internal audit procedures.;

- Discuss audit findings with relevant departments;

- Conduct follow-up on the status of action plan implementation;

- Assess and update related risks to enhance the risk-based audit methodology;

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit

Education

- Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or relevant internal control, internal audit, risk management.

- Preferred professional qualification such as ACCA, CIA or CISA.

Experience:

- At least 2-year experience in internal audit, internal control, auditing, accounting or risk management.

- Experience working in Life Insurance field or IT audit is a plus.

Skills required:

- Familiarity with MS OFFICE(Word/Excel/PPT)

- Good communication and writing skill in both Vietnamese & English

- Ability to work independently, work in a team

- Negotiation, problem-solving, communication skills
