Senior Officer, Risk Management

To support Risk Management Team, in partnership with other teams/parts, to implement the Enterprise Risk Management and construct a strong risk culture in SHLV

The essential accountabilities consist of, but are not limited to the following::

- Assist the Risk Management Team in monitoring and consolidating Risk Management Information for timely escalation/regular risk reports to Local Management and Group Office

- Assist the Risk Management Team in managing incidents/issues; ensure root causes, mitigating/preventive actions are defined properly addressed, and followed up

- Perform independent Key Control Self-Assessment reviews to challenge the certification made by 1st Line of Defence and other requirements for Risk Management Risk Management Team

- Coordinate with project owners in risk assessment for new projects/ initiatives; provide an independent view, constructive challenges, and ensure identified issues are properly assessed and mitigated at acceptable level

- Schedule and arrange risk management training program, risk awareness activities, risk meetings/ committees as planned

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Economics, Accounting, Auditing

Experience:

- At least 2-3 years’ experience working in a risk management department, internal control in an insurance/financial services organization

Skills required:

- Good communication and writing skills in both Vietnamese & English

- Logical thinking

- Ability to work independently, work in a team

- High sense of responsibility, careful

- Understanding of the interaction of assets and liabilities, capital, product, financial reporting, operations, and related business risks is a plus
