Senior Optical Measurement & Calibration Engineer

Job Purpose

Responsible for designing, developing, and improving optical testing and measurement systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Support qualification, standardization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of measurement systems to ensure stable production and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and improve optical testing and measurement systems for new and existing products.

- Drive innovation in metrology techniques and lead calibration procedure development.

- Oversee verification, qualification, and standardization of measurement systems.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production and internal teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers on technical solutions.

- Lead preventive maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement activities.

- Support process control and improvement projects as assigned.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences. Preferred specializations: Optics/Laser System Engineering | Physics | Mechatronics | Other related fields

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in optical measurement or metrology systems.

- Proven experience in design/development of optical measurement systems.

- Preferably experienced in optics, optoelectronics, optical communication, or module development.

Skills & Abilities:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in optical testing systems.

- Knowledge of SPC, calibration, and statistical tools.

- Skilled in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and MS Office.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills; English proficiency required.
