Senior Product Engineer

CSW Industrials (Nasdaq: CSWI) an US publicly traded company in Nasdaq stock market with approx. $4B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 3 business units - Contractor Solutions, Engineered Building Solutions and Specialized Reliability Solutions. We’re having significant manufacturing base in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai named TRUAIRE Vietnam.

We’re looking for Senior Product Engineer responsible to ensure various roles of product compliance, CIP & Projects Management to obtain optimum efficiency to meet customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (required). Must be able to communicate clearly and directly with the US team.

• 5+ years of related experience and knowledge of NPI, Product database, ERP, VE, Process Control, Lean Manufacturing.

• Background in mechanical, material science, powder coating and industrial painting. Experience about metal plating is a plus.

• Collaborative, proactive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure safety, technical guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.

• Lead the new product transfers & product compliance (50%):

o Manage the technical engineering to complete engineering requirements of new developments and production which including tooling, JFT, Tester, qualification...

o Responsible for Product technical database, Bill of Materials, MM accuracy and packaging instructions.

o Sign-off the production readiness (CAD approval, BOM completion, MM creation …etc).

o Work as Technical Antenna of the factory, co-ordinate with US R&D Team on drawings and product design.

o Make product sample following requirements from R&D, Customer.

o Review and audit CAD drawings, product costing.

o Work with Purchasing team to qualify new material, new components, and new sources for Productivity Projects such as Value Engineering, change of supplier, localization.

o Work with production to transfer the engineering point from product knowledge, work instruction, sample to Production.

o Assist in production problem solving, quality issues.

• Powder Coating process (30%):

o Setup and develop powder coating processes (including powder mixing), optimize run parameters for powder coating lines.

o Determine paint flow, DFT, and coating quality by performing proper inspections, qualification. Maintain the powder coating standard.

o Troubleshoot the coating issues.

o Qualify new materials for powder coating (including metal plating, painting), develop new formula, study / deploy new technology.

• Lead the CIP, VE Projects among the plant (20%):

o Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

o Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity.

o Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of the improvements to ensure that they are meeting the desired outcomes.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the improvements are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
