Job Description

Amazon is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Program Manager in Vietnam for the Amazon Global Selling business. The Senior Program Manager will focus on solving problems and implementing innovative business solutions that will enable Vietnamese Sellers to launch at scale on Amazon marketplaces worldwide. This person will understand Sellers’ pain points, gather business requirements and support product managers for the Amazon global marketplaces to develop solutions to address Vietnamese sellers’ concerns. Additional projects include working closely with Amazon marketplaces’ category managers and all other internal stakeholders to provide support in scaling our outreach to educate Vietnamese sellers on Sell on Amazon offerings so as to bring unique selection to all Amazon marketplaces. Successful candidates will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They will have superb communication and project-management skills, and will be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way. They will deal with highly ambiguous problems, taking full control and responsibility for finding solutions, and will drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.
More specifically, the near term focus of this Senior Program Manager lies in working with the Amazon marketplaces to build mechanisms to ensure first-rate Seller experience without compromising Buying Customers’ experience on Amazon marketplaces. In order to achieve this, Senior Program Manager will continuously assess internal policies and SOPs, define issue areas with potential business impact, prioritize the issue areas and recommend process improvement to internal stakeholders worldwide.

The Senior Program Manager will deliver on this vision by identifying Vietnamese Seller’s pain points in Selling on Amazon’s global marketplaces, and recommending solutions to enable Vietnamese Seller to launch at scale on Amazon marketplaces worldwide.

Core Responsibilities
· Understand Sellers’ pain points and gather business requirements and support Amazon Global marketplaces to create innovative solutions for Sellers to launch at scale on Amazon marketplaces worldwide
· Collaborate with product teams to contribute to tools and process development to enable Global Selling team in Vietnam to leverage them in Seller engagement
· Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings and international markets for opportunity analysis
· Prepare and deliver business reviews of the Vietnamese business regarding new programs' progress
· Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Global Selling product to Vietnamese Sellers
· Engage with Sellers to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set
· Support Amazon global marketplaces in driving change, removing roadblocks and increasing participation by local Sellers with respect to the Amazon Global Selling business

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications
· 8+ years of successful program and product management, business improvement or management consulting roles, preferably in the eCommerce, retail technology, or software industries
· Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguous problems / strong problem solving skills
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation with various business and technical teams
· Excellent analytical and data-mining aptitude, coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills and SQL skills
· Experience in marketing nascent products/services to new markets
· Ability to create innovative new initiatives that generate results
· Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
· Proven track record collaborating successfully with internal and external partners
· Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Vietnamese

Preferred Qualifications
· MBA or related Master’s degree
· Global e-commerce experience
· Proven ability to influence others
· Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders to reach mutual agreement
· Experience using analytical, marketing, and productivity tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, SalesForce or other CRM tools, Microsoft OneNote, and Microsoft SharePoint.
· Proven successful experience in process improvement projects (operation strategy)
