Senior Project Engineer

Range of Responsibilities and authorities:

1. Senior Project Management Responsible for the project management of new product development for Sonion Vietnam. The project manager will work closely with the product development team in the Netherlands to drive innovation, optimize time to market, product quality and design for manufacturability.

-Manage projects which develop new products for Sonion Vietnam.

-Participate in the development process for assigned projects with focus on innovation, time to market, cost minimization, design for manufacture, and product quality.

-Budgets responsible for the projects assigned.

-Compile project plans for assigned projects and coordinate project team meetings. Regularly updates on project status to senior management, the project team, and stakeholders.

-Monitor and control progress of projects to provide technical oversight and ensure that application of engineering principles is used.

-Work closely with Product Development and Operations on product design and operations (manufacturability, assembly, inspection etc.).

2. Production Engineer Product launches by implementation of new processes/operations in production, based on R&D documentation and equipment/tooling provided by System Engineering

-Take charge of pilot production based on R&D documentation and equipment/tooling provided by SE.

-Participate in new product feasibilities investigation and proposal

-Prepare technical instruction documentation for pilot production

-Validation production line and/or equipment before mass production

3. Production Engineer

-Support new product and process development

-Execute tests in production environment based on experiments design by R&D

- Education: Required: University degree with major in Technical or Engineering

Preferable: Master’s degree

- At least 3 years in a similar positions of project management

- Fluent in English

- Transducer (or product) knowledge

- Team player, open minded, honest and target driven
