Senior Purchasing Specialist - Chuyên Viên Mua Hàng

Position context: As a Senior Purchasing Specialist, you will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the efficient procurement of materials and services necessary for our operations. Responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize costs while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Identify quantity requirements, types of goods, and prepare purchase proposals.

• Inquire, evaluate and select suppliers according to the approved supplier panel, specifications, quality expectations, and market competitiveness; ensure commercial, technical and quality requirements are achieved.

• Implement bidding process to choose the most suitable suppliers.

• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

• Support in development of purchasing strategy.

• Maintain good relationship with current suppliers and expand new suppliers.

• Research and monitor industry trends (sourcing, technology, market price).

• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments, and stakeholders.

• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.

• Propose solutions to save costs and improve product quality.

• Conduct other procurement related tasks as assigned.

• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Purchasing field, preferably at OEM/ Automotive Company.

• Relevant experience in Sourcing or Material Control within OEM/ Automation Company.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software/systems.

• Good communication in English (4 skills).

• Problem-solving skills, persuasive negotiation skills, and good analytical thinking.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
