Senior QA Engineer

1. Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, objectives, and test strategies for each project or release.

2. Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets to effectively and thoroughly test software applications based on the Insurance Business process.

3. Mobile App Testing:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile applications on various platforms (iOS and Android).

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile app testing.

• Verify the functionality, usability, and performance of mobile apps.

• Identify and document defects, and work with developers to ensure their resolution.

4. API Testing with Postman:

• Utilize Postman to design, execute, and automate API test cases.

• Validate API endpoints for correctness, reliability, and security.

• Perform load and performance testing on APIs to ensure scalability.

• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve API issues.

5. Defect Management: Document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate their resolution.

6. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.

7. Quality Metrics: Monitor and report on key quality metrics, such as defect density and test coverage, to assess the health of software projects.

8. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development cycle.

9. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and trends in quality assurance and recommend process improvements as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, with a focus on mobile app and API testing.

• Strong knowledge of mobile app testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to communicate in English.

• Having experience in the automation testing and insurance field is a plus.
