Senior Quality Assurance - Central Vietnam

We are expanding our production base in the central region of Vietnam and are looking for an experienced QA professional with a strong background in woven products to join our growing team.

***Role Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance is responsible for leading and optimizing quality assurance processes to ensure that all manufactured apparel products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves implementing quality standards, policies, and procedures, as well as conducting comprehensive quality audits throughout the manufacturing process.

The Senior QA collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify potential quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. By leveraging extensive industry knowledge and leadership skills, this position plays a critical role in enhancing product quality, customer satisfaction, and overall operational excellence.

***Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of inspection processes to ensure quality and compliance with specifications and deliverables.

• Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with factory management and buyers to support effective quality assurance practices.

• Implement procedures for capturing, investigating, and documenting product complaints, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.

• Conduct and coordinate in-process inspections while providing guidance and support during final random inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Maintain proactive follow-up on quality and technical issues, providing effective solutions and strategies for improvement.

• Monitor and enhance risk-management procedures, maintain detailed problem logs, and report significant quality issues to management and product developers.

• Provide mentorship, training, and support to factory quality assurance team members on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes, fostering a culture of excellence.

• Participate in pre-production meetings with factory and relevant parties to align on quality expectations and project timelines.

• Evaluate pre-production sample and other sample types for bulk production according to buyer instructions, ensuring optimal fit and adherence to quality standards.

• Oversee and follow up on inline quality checks and reporting within cutting, sewing, and finishing departments to maintain high-quality standards.

• Assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting on quality levels, as well as compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

***Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion/Clothing Studies, or a closely related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within the garment industry, with a strong focus on leadership and team management.

• Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and facilitate effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.

• Strong ability to monitor and support factory quality inspectors, supervisors, and teams in meeting customer requirements and industry standards.

• In-depth experience and comprehensive understanding of apparel production processes and quality assurance methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Proven capability to establish, update, and maintain quality manuals, standards, and procedural documentation.

• Fluency in the local language and an excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledgeable in quality management software and tools.
