Senior Quality Engineer - District 9

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing of power tools. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality engineering, with a focus on power tools, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process, including the identification and elimination of root causes for quality defects.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues and non-conformities.

• Collaborate closely with the product design and engineering teams to establish and refine product specifications and quality requirements.

• Develop and maintain quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and test protocols for power tools manufacturing processes.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior quality engineers and production staff regarding best practices in quality management and problem-solving.

• Analyze data from production and testing to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

• Manage quality assurance documentation, including reports, certificates, and test results, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

• Ensure that all products meet safety standards and comply with local and international regulatory requirements.

• Lead QB phase for project (Localization, Transfer, ….).

• Other task assigned by direct management

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on power tools or consumer electronics manufacturing.

Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry regulations.

• Strong experience with statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), design of experiments (DOE), and other quality tools.

Functional Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions effectively.

• Proficient in using quality management software, data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with supplier quality management and performance metrics.

• Knowledge of power tools manufacturing processes and product testing protocols.

• Have knowledge quality management systems (QMS) to ensure

compliance with both internal and external quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
