Senior Quality Team Leader

Responsibilities

The Senior Quality Team Leader role is to ensure all products produced and shipped meet the standard of ECOLAB quality and specification, and also meet all govt. requirement incl. license, minimum/maximum parameter allowed, etc.

• To ensure that analyses are carried out according to standard procedures and all documentation is maintained and updated.

• To conduct lab test, recommend dosages and supervise effluent and waste treatment and ensure that the discharge meet government regulations and company standards.

• To ensure safe working condition of Analytical Laboratory following the Lab safety guidance from corporate office or applicable regulations.

• To conduct Lab activities in a safe manner.

• To report to the supervisor promptly any incident, accident, illness or near miss.

• Establishes quality control guidelines and testing procedures.

• Ensures that raw material and finished product quality and reliability are following engineering and product specifications.

• Reviews quality control practices and procedures to ensure that quality standards are upheld.

• Responsible for supervision and recommendation on effluent/waste treatment program to ensure that plant discharge meet government regulations as well as company standards.

• Maintain all standard certification implementation at QC lab area ie (but not limited to) ISO, Halal, etc.

• Responsible for maintaining safe working condition and safe working practice in Laboratory and report any incident, accident, illness or near miss promptly.

• Monitoring adherence to key performance indicators (KPI) that are assigned to the assigned product categories.

• Working with cross function when having feedback/complaints from customers to root cause analysis and correction action.

• Leading the LEAN project for continuous improvement for plant.

• Manage the small team in Quality Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry Science or Chemical Engineering

• 3 years’ experience managing quality system with 3 years in related industry

• Familiar with Quality and SHE Programs, and Quality and SHE related Govt rules.

• Strong Leadership, good team player.
