Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an intelligent and enthusiastic local S. Quantity Surveyor, the following is a summary of the main tasks that this person will be responsible for.

• Preparing procurement exercise, sub-tender (RFQ) with Subcontractor and draft subcontract documents, including bills of quantities, scope of work.

• Review Subcontractors ‘quotation, negotiate and prepare Comparison Sheet submit to Manager review.

• Request, review and negotiate Variation orders with Subcontractors (Design Changes) to prepare Variation orders to Manager review then submit to Employer.

• Responsible for quantity taking off as per approved for Construction drawings for work packages as plan.

• Coordinate with Construction team to review, finalize the physical work done at site; prepare Interim Payment Cert (IPC) for some Works packages is asigned.

• At least 8-10 years experience in related positions

• Knowledge of Mall’s &/or complex Building bills of quantities, Design & Build project and ability to assess quotation for value, cost and quality.

• Worked with foreign organization (Japanese Co.) and construction site experience is an advantage

• Intermediate negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate payments and variation orders with Sub-contractors.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate of CAD.

• Intermediate written and spoken communication English skills.
