Senior Sourcing Manager (Furniture)
Job description
The Senior Sourcing Manager (Furniture) at Yes4All will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing the procurement process for the furniture product line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and procurement within the furniture industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a track record of driving cost savings and quality improvements. * Responsibilities: Sourcing Strategy: - Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for furniture components and materials. - Identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and agreements. Supplier Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers. - Evaluate supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and implement improvement initiatives. - Source and onboard new suppliers to expand the vendor network. Cost Negotiation: - Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maintain competitiveness. - Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering. Market Analysis: - Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies in the furniture industry. - Provide regular market analysis and insights to inform strategic sourcing decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
Job requirements
- Bachelor‘s degree in Business, Commercial, or a related field. A Master‘s degree or relevant certifications are advantageous. - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sourcing, merchandising or related roles within Furniture sourcing industry - Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies, negotiation strategies, and supply chain management principles. - Demonstrated success in developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously. - Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve results. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
