Senior Sourcing/ Purchasing Specialist (Chinese Speaking)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our expertise lies in providing innovative solutions for a diverse range of products, including novelty stationery, high-quality crafts, educational kits, party supplies, seasonal items, toys and games, as well as health and beauty products.

Our Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office is expanding, and we are looking for a dedicated Senior Sourcing to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation – 50%

• Identify and evaluate qualified suppliers based on customer inquiries and product specifications.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements while ensuring supplier compliance.

• Assess supplier capabilities, quality systems, and performance metrics.

Product Development & Quality Assurance – 40%

• Collaborate with suppliers to develop and approve product samples according to customer standards.

• Track production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to maintain consistent quality.

Market Research & Strategic Reporting – 5%

• Conduct regular market research to stay updated on product trends and sourcing opportunities.

• Provide reports and recommendations to improve sourcing strategies and product offerings.

Cross-functional Collaboration – 5%

• Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Quality Control, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the team leader or department head.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese – mandatory for supplier communication.

• Good command of English (both written and verbal).

• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to lead teams and drive results effectively.

• Solid understanding of supplier evaluation, compliance, and quality control processes.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience working with Chinese suppliers or in multinational environments.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
