Senior Substrate Design Engineer | Remote Work

The Senior Engineer in Substrate Design will be a key member of our engineering team, responsible for mdesigning and developing advanced substrate solutions for our cutting-edge products. This role requires strong technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for pushing the limits of technology. - Responsible for substrate technology. - Direct work with vendors for substrate development and qualification.

Substrate Design: Lead the design and development of high-performance PCB and Package substrate layouts for Chip production Designing for high-speed signals such as PCIe5, CCIX, DDR5....as well as designing/ Verifying the MLC/MLO and support for wafer test. Perform logical design : (Create netlist and routing rules from customer provided information packages and schematics) Perform PKG physical layout : Study (Substrate/Ball size and quantity, parts placement, routing, trace length adjustment, verification etc.). Design Optimization: Work with SIPI team to optimize substrate designs for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal performance, and reliability. Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging substrate technologies and materials, evaluate their suitability for our applications, and recommend adoption where appropriate. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, PCB designers, manufacturing engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of substrate designs into overall product architecture. Documentation: Generate comprehensive design documentation including schematics, layout guidelines, design rules, and manufacturing specifications. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that substrate designs meet specified requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
