Senior Technical Design Manager - Intimate Products

• Take on the role of Fit Owner/Expert for several categories, overseeing the fit procedures and offering fit knowledge.

• Use your influence when creating and recommending fits. precise and unambiguous fit recommendations and revisions

• Oversee fit scheduling, assist with model selection and calibration, and guarantee fit action alignment.

• Monitor and examine fit data to evaluate risks.

• Manage the Fit Library, post-fit workouts, and any required pattern reviews.

• Provide team members with guidance and coaching on fit-related subjects, raising concerns as needed.

• Work together on fit issues with vendors, cross-functional teams, and design teams.

• Oversee timing, follow-up tasks, and wear testing to guarantee product excellence.

• Oversee fit assessment procedures and properly inform stakeholders of problem resolutions

• Show that you understand business concepts including costing, raw materials, and production procedures.

• Participate with knowledge and insight in team and cross-functional meetings as a representative of technical design.

• Show up to and take part in brand meetings, which include sessions for design, line, and style reviews.

• Conduct vendor meetings to promote cooperation and guarantee coordination.

• Technical education at the level of garment fit and construction or equivalent work experience

• Practical expertise in prototyping and creating garments for mass production

• Over 15 years of technical experience gained working in a retail or textile business environment, including 7 years of intimate product experience.

• Understanding of computer specification packages and ideally two to three years of experience with it (PDM)

• Practical experience implementing tested quality assurance methods in the apparel sector
