Senior Trade Marketing Manager
Job description
1. Key deliverables of the role (60%):
- Leading development of the Trade Marketing Strategy (both GT & MT) to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories by customers/channel.
- Owning responsibility for the development, execution, and performance of all programs designed to increase presence and ultimate take-away to competitive market share.
- Ensuring alignment across the Sales and Marketing organizations on field sales needs, marketing initiatives and budget management.
- Putting in place, monitor and improve processes to link all Marketing activities with the activities of the Sales team.
Work closely with Marketing to improve planning processes that link corporate brand building activities and Product Development activities with sales activities
2. Budget control & Business analyses (30%):
- Conduct post-promotion evaluation of key schemes and give inputs for further improvement
- Conduct monthly business review by sub-category by account coming up with action plan for next period
- Monthly/ quarterly review the performance of spending by activities to assure the effective control of budget
- Ensure the accuracy of the Company's business data, management system. Regularly monitor and check the implementation of the entire system. Make monthly reports to the Board of Directors
- Responsible for allocating promotional budgets to the distribution channel / sales area in accordance with the general goals of sales and Marketing
- Support annual business planning and management of sales department budget / cost data system
- Perform regular sales forecasts and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the accuracy of forecast data execution.
- Regularly analyze business data and propose orientation plans for the business force to ensure the stable development of each industry.
3. People Management (10%):
- Manage, coaching, feedback, support, develop & review performance evaluation for staff directly under the department (Trade Marketing Manager – MT & GT channel, other staffs in functions)
- Build team engagement & talent retention
- Coordinate with the training department to identify and implement training courses tailored to the skills development needs of team members
Job requirements
1. Functional:
- BA degree, at least 10 years’ experiences in both GT & MT Trade Marketing for FMCG Industry
- Analytical, flexible, ability to work independently & problem solving
- Excellent negotiation & communication skills
- Experience in project management & working under pressure
- Willing to travel in the designated area.
2. Behavioral:
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary - owner mentality
- Cross functional influencing, coordinate international and multi-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to learning and expanding professional knowledge
