*Reports to Team Leader (Digital/Offset Printing) & Service Manager (Technical Services)
The Service Engineer provides timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann Vietnam customers. This specifically includes installations, reinstallations, and preventive maintenance for machines and devices of digital/offset printing technologies (HP Indigo/Heidelberg).
1. Technical Service: Provide installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial printing devices and machines for customers.
▪ Installation of the printing devices and machines according to plans and engineering drawings.
▪ Preventive maintenance
▪ Perform emergency service at the customer’s site if needed
▪ Troubleshoot via phone calls, emails, or in person.
▪ Email communication with machine manufacturers for troubleshooting support and technical clarifications
▪ Attend meetings with regards to installations, service matters, technical solutions, and administrative matters of the company
▪ Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments, to offer solutions that fulfill the customer’s needs.
2. Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting concerning operations and services
▪ Provide the customer with service/installation reports
▪ Submit service reports and job cards/time sheets to the manager
▪ Gather and report information at customer site regarding the process and quality concerns, to create new business opportunities
3. Spare Parts: Recommend spare parts to customers
▪ Provide information and help customer to upgrade/retrofit their machine (spare parts recommendation)
▪ Cost-conscious and sensitive handling of spare parts and work equipment
3. Customer Relationship: Develop, establish, and maintain long-term, positive relationships with customers
▪ Train customer to operate/maintain the machine
▪ Provide excellent service to customers by giving undivided attention and focus on meeting their needs
▪ Anticipate questions, concerns, and future issues and provide solutions, which will consistently result in repeated business, word of mouth referrals, and increased quality of service providing
▪ Find solutions to customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
▪ To assist on ad hoc tasks or projects as required by the management.
▪ Willing to work extra hours to complete tasks and fulfilling customer’s needs.
▪ Ability to be available and on-call 24 hours per day.
