SHE Officer

1. Job Purpose & Scope

• To ensure employees and visitors comply to established SHE regulations,

• To ensure sites comply to local and ROCKWOOL SHE regulations & guidelines. Take necessary actions as per established guidelines.

• Plan & implement local & ROCKWOOL SHE requirement.

2. Key Result Areas

• Development, implement and enforced local and ROCKWOOL requirements.

• Inspection, advice, follow up and take necessary action.

• Providing safety planning

• Inspection Safety plan.

• Control the employee to follow policy.

• Advising and Training.

• Investigation of any accident.

• Analysis a data.

• New ideas to improve SHE

3. Key Responsibilities & Job Content

• Implement SHE programs and develops facility specific procedures that ensure compliance with local regulatory and Rock Wool requirements.

• Participate in development of SHE program components: operational procedure, work instructions, training material, standards, etc.

• Integrate Company and facility level SHE management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection and safe operating conditions.

• Reduce liability within a facility and ensure all safety and environmental recommendations are completed and documented.

• Compile process safety information for each covered process and keep readily accessible to process employees and management as well as updated on an annual basis.

• Use a structured processes score card to measure and communicate safety/environmental performance with both leading results and indicators.

• Track and regularly report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.

• Provide advice/recommendation/suggestion to the site manager in regard to SHE matters and act as a daily point of contact for all SHE issues.

• Assists line and staff management in understanding SHE regulations and standards, including guidance on handling SHE compliance, inspections, and citations.

• Provides advice and counsel to stakeholder and leads to incorporate environmental health and safety principles and concepts to prevent workplace, operational hazards and environmental impacts.

• Implements environmental, health and safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.

• Act as a resource and mentor to facility safety teams. Investigate all releases, injuries and near-misses.

• Contorl and supervise with project/engineering owner for Contractor Safety Management for renovation, expansion projects.

• Control the employee to follow policy, rule and command or safety strategies.

• Safety Officer License is required

• Conceptual Thinking and Technical Consciousness

• SHE diploma/higher diploma/degree

• Communication and Presentation Skill

• Strong Planning skill, experiences with international MNC

• Strong Personnel Management in manufacturing company

• Communicative level written and spoken English proficiency.
