Software Engineer

1. System Operation and Trouble Shooting – 90%

a) Independently compile MFGPro source code (Progress ABL/4GL), resolve library dependencies, and roll back faulty builds

b) ABL/4GL compilation, Python/Shell automation, T-SQL optimization

c) Modify stored procedures for data transformation (MS SQL) and Python/Shell scripts for backup automation

d) Debug C++/Java integration issues between MFGPro and K3/PLM systems

e) System Backup, Recovery and Contingency plan

2. Infra Operation and support – 10%

a) Network Cabling and Administration;

b) Printing support & service;

c) Windows Server 2000, AD, PowerShell, PerfMon analysis

3. To ensure all work process and machinery and tooling design are of safety standard;

1. ≥3 years of hands-on experience in independently compiling MFGPro source code (Progress ABL/4GL), resolving library dependencies, and rolling back faulty builds

2. Proficiency in T-SQL optimization (MS SQL) for stored procedure modification and data transformation.

3. Advanced scripting skills: Python/Shell automation for backup scheduling, log cleanup, and system monitoring

4. Proven ability to debug C++/Java integration issues between MFGPro and peripheral systems (e.g., K3, PLM) using log analysis and API tracing

5. Experience in disaster recovery planning: Design/test backup strategies (full/incremental) with RTO

6. Basic network administration: LAN/WAN cabling, router/switch configuration, and printing service support

7. Windows Server management: AD, PowerShell automation, PerfMon analysis for performance bottlenecks

8. English can be used as the working language.

9. Progress OpenEdge Administrator is preferred .

10. RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) is preferred

11. Microsoft MCDBA Certificated is preferred
