We, LG Electronics Development Vietnam (LGEDV), conduct core R&D activities and various product reliability tests in support of our vehicle component business.

As Software Project Leader of LGEDV Da Nang Office, you will:

• Coordination of SW development activities

• Manage operations related to the delivery of assigned projects

• Project Management

o Discuss plans for assigned projects with HQ based on LGEDV & Vietnam calendar

o Monitor the progress of scheduled activities

o Monitor and control quality of deliverables

o Identify and act on potential problems as early as possible

o Identify, report and act on risks as early as possible

o Identify and act on conflicts of interest with other areas within or external to the project

o Report progress (and potential delays and issues) to HQ/OEM

• Defect Management

o Supervise Development and maintenance of the heritage of the defect to reinforce platform approach

o Act as SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for the defect management towards OEM/HQ

o Manage defect calls with OEM/HQ and provide clear minutes and actions

• Software Releases

o Support the release of each software to all stakeholders and Partners of the LGEDV, supporting them for each difficulty which may be faced during the update.

o Review Software release notes prepared by Functional teams for each release, and make sure it is meeting the required quality

• Customization requirements

o Insert and update settings and customization requirements inside LG databases

o Analyze the impact of CR and lead overall CR development

• Test Coordination

o Collaborate with Validation stakeholders & Certification teams to retest fixed defects

o Review various reports prepared by Validation stakeholders & Certification teams

• Process Alignment

o Improvement for project management to meet A-SPICE requirement

• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, with the required quality standards within agreed customer requirement specifications

General requirements:

Qualifications:

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job satisfactorily

• B.S in Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computing Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related major

• More than 3 years of experience in the field of developing SW automotive electrical and electronic equipment by basic Linux/Android for vehicles

• More than 3 years of experience using configuration management tools & building embedded software development environment

• More than 1 year of working experience in project management of automotive electrical and electronic equipment SW development

• Experienced full-cycle response from developing ~ mass-production automotive electrical and electronic equipment SW for vehicle
